Our Mission
To provide our students with high-quality, engaging instruction in a safe, nurturing environment that promotes higher-level thinking, creativity and skills to be productive citizens and to provide support for those who do not demonstrate growth in these areas.
Our Vision
All students will attain (or make adequate progress towards) state and/or system designated performance levels in reading, math and science by the end of the school year.
From the Principal:
1st- The DPS Year-round and Magnet Fair will be held at Hillside High School tomorrow, January 21st. Elementary schools will be featured from 9 AM to 12 noon and Middle Schools and High Schools will be showcased from 2 PM to 5 PM. The lottery window opens on January 21st and ends on February 17th.
2nd- Easley will celebrate 100 days of school on Monday, January 23rd. As part of this special day we are conducting a can food drive for Urban Ministries. The Kindergarten students will use the cans for a graphing lesson and then the cans will be delivered to Urban Ministries. As an additional activity, we are attempting to have 100% of our school wear something blue on January 23rd.
3rd- The next Easley Night Out will be held at the Subway on the corner of Horton and Guess Roads on Tuesday, January 24th from 4 PM to 8:30 PM.
