Fundraising Opportunities
Easley participates in a variety of regional and national fundraising programs that are designed to provide funds for education. The PTA collaborates with the school to administer these programs. Some of these fundraising opportunities are described below.
Furtal
This is an internet portal for online shopping where a percentage of your purchase is donated to Easley. There is no cost to the school or to you. Simply start your online shopping at our Furtal web site, and the participating retailers will make a donation to our school.
Box Tops for Education
Box Tops for Education is a fundraising program sponsored by General Mills that helps America’s schools earn money. Box Tops coupons are available on hundreds of participating products found in your local grocery store. Look for the 10¢ Box Tops coupons, clip them out, and send them in to school. Our school coordinator tallies the Box Tops, and your child’s teacher receives a check equal to the value of the coupons sent in by his or her students. Teachers can spend this money on classroom supplies of their choosing – books, games, puzzles – you name it. Food Lion
Food Lion’s Lion Shop & Share program is a fundraising program for non-profit organizations in our community. Each time you shop at Food Lion and use your MVP card, a portion of your total grocery purchase will be donated to our school. You can link your MVP card to Easley online or you can call customer relations at 1-704-633-8250 ext. 3810 and have your information entered over the phone.
Harris Teeter
Harris Teeter’s Together in Education program is a fundraising program for schools in our community. When you purchase select HT brand products using your VIC card, Harris Teeter contributes a percentage of those purchase dollars to our school. There is a one-time sign up process each school year, and now is the time to link or re-link your VIC card to Easley. Our school code is 1311. You can link to Easley online or you can ask a Harris Teeter cashier for help the next time you are at the checkout.
Kroger
Kroger’s Plus Card for Education program is a fundraising program for schools in our community. Each time you shop with your Kroger Plus Card or Kroger Rewards Card through April 17, 2010, your purchases automatically benefit our school. Take our school bar code to your local Kroger store and ask a Kroger cashier to scan the bar code along with your Kroger Plus Card or Kroger Rewards Card. Just shop, scan, save, and support our school.
