Volunteer Opportunities

Easley prides itself on its parent volunteers, and we wouldn’t be the wonderful school we are without your help. There are many ways that you can contribute to the PTA and the school. Volunteer opportunities for the 2009-2010 school year include:

  • bilingual tutoring
  • lunch coverage
  • morning car duty
  • proctoring exams
  • reading with students
  • serving on a PTA committee
  • shelving books in the Media Center
  • supervising a learning center
  • tutoring

If you are interested in supporting the volunteer needs of the school, please complete the Volunteer Opportunities sign-up form and return it to school. Also, Durham Public Schools requires that all volunteers complete a Volunteer Application. This form only needs to be completed one time, so if you have previously submitted an application to DPS you do not need to repeat this process. Please contact the PTA Volunteer Coordinator, Jennifer James, at jenniljames@yahoo.com if you have any questions or experience difficulty downloading these forms.
